How to Save the block.gif from Lesson 4

Or Any Image You Want To Save In Netscape 4.7+

1. Point your mouse cursor on the block and right-click.

2. In the menu that pops up, left-click on Save Image As


................. My Save Picture dialog Save in default is Desktop.
Yours may open to the last folder you saved in.

Click on the and open your menu.

You will notice that the File name (as it is on the page)
and its Save as type are already filled in.


.................Scroll down and click on the drive
that holds your HTML folder.
Mine is on my D: drive.


     Double-click on your HTML folder to open it.

If you have never saved any gifs,
your window will be blank.

File name and Save as type will be filled in.

Because this is an image file,
you will not see your HTML pages listed.


....... You will get this message if you try
to save a gif that already has that name.



Click Save and the image will be saved in the folder you just designated.


To find the Width and Height of an image,
right-click on the image,
click on View Image

The image will open all by itself in the browser. The dimensions will show in the title bar. Width X Height
