About Deb's Place
I began taking classes at Virtual Universityİ
in 1997. I began with the HTML 1 class under
Jean Engel and went from there. I assisted
without being an actual VU Assistant for several
years to help students taking classes and using AOL as
their ISP. AOL users have different problems
when trying to upload their web pages to AOL.
After several years the instructors asked me to be an
assistant during classes which I happily took
on. I had received so much and wanted to return
to other students the help I had been given.
I am also the Technology Coordinator and
Computer Lab teacher at the elementary school where I
work. Through this work I am called on by
friends, neighbors and relatives to help with many of
their computer problems. I don't mind helping
and gain much in return.
I also have a web design business which I enjoy
running. The biggest challenge is to keep
learning to give my clients a site that they can be
proud of.
I hope you will be able to enjoy and take
something with you when you visit here at Deb's Place.
