How to View Your .html files in
Your Internet Explorer 5+ Browser
Go here for - Netscape 4.7+
Open your browser.
Click on File in the menubar.
Click on Open or hit Ctrl+O
Click on Browse
The default is to open something in My Documents.
Click on the
drop down black triangle in the Look in window.
Click on the drive that holds your HTML folder. As you can see mine is on my D: drive. Most will have it on their C: drive.
Click on your HTML folder.
Double click on the notebook1.html file and that screen will close and the notebook1.html file will be in the Open Dialog.
Click on OK and the page will open in the browser.
You can tell what it is that you are viewing by looking at the Title bar or Address bar in IE.
As you edit and save your .html, hit Refresh
or the F5 function key on your keyboard in your browser to see the changes you made.
